Dr. Loralyn Lacey

 * Holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Community Counseling, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Community Counseling, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies all from Texas Tech University. 

* Training includes experience in agency counseling work such as Mental Health/Mental Retardation (MHMR), Buckner Family and Children's Home, and the Department of Neuropsychiatry at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.

* Provides quality, professional counseling and forensic services to individuals, families, and the community in her private practice for more than 15 years .

Licensure requirements typically include:

*Education 48 to 60 hours of graduate-level training, including a master's or doctoral degree in counseling from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education.

* Experience completion of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience, performed within two years.

* Examination passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or a similar state developed exam.

* Ethics adherence to a strict Code of Ethics in professional practice.
